In October 2011, Cinque Terre, Italy—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—was devastated by floods, damaging landscapes, infrastructure, and the outdoor areas of coastal restaurants. In 2012, the region launched a recovery initiative to revitalize tourism through landscape enhancement while preserving its signature charm of “vibrant colors in harmony with nature.” Leveraging our expertise in thematic landscape customization, our company was invited to create 50 custom cherry blossom trees for three core coastal restaurants in the area. Blending Eastern aesthetics with local charm, these installations have revitalized the dining spaces and forged a cooperative bridge with Italy’s cultural and tourism industry.
